Well, after four years in California, we just experienced our first earthquake - a cheeky little entry from the Hayward fault line registering at 5.6 on the Richter scale.
Hooray. We’re no longer California earthquake virgins.

Holy cripes. I must have felt at least 6 in the 3 years I was there… I can think of 3 that made me go “woah.”
Congrats Brendon. It was my son’s fist major earthquake as well. When I asked what he thought about his first quake, he answered like every 7 year old boy should, “that was kewl!” And no David, we can’t do it again.
