Argh, it looks like they &lt;em&gt;do&lt;/em&gt; use electronics to handle the shifting. Sigh - I guess this is the Browning automatic transmission after all. At least it &lt;a href="http://news.com.com/2300-1008_3-6167611-3.html?tag=ne.gall.pg"&gt;doesn&#8217;t require batteries&lt;/a&gt;.</description>
