Shimano is showing that it knows the right way to provide a bicycle that automatically shifts gears for the user. This is the right way to do it - no electronics, no computer, just smart design - as compared to the alternative, the Browning automatic transmission. (via Slashgear)
I stand corrected. Argh, it looks like they do use electronics to handle the shifting. Sigh - I guess this is the Browning automatic transmission after all. At least it doesn’t require batteries.
