Now We Are 30

I had my 30th birthday this weekend. Hmm. That seemed to come around awfully quickly. Not that it’s a bad thing, but it just seemed odd that it was just another day. What’s the big deal?

Remind me again - when do I turn into an adult?

    You turned into an adult long ago, though most people miss the transition. Our culture doesn’t have a coming of age ritual, so you’re left hanging. In other cultures, you’d be left to fend for yourself in the forest for a while or you’d have to perform some feat of strength or something else.

    In any case, my guess is that there are three stages of adulthood. Pre-kids, kids, and post-kids. I doubt that it starts to feel like adulthood until you get to the kids stage.

    u may not feel like an adult but you are
    don’t have to have kids to be an adult either

    oh that’s an easy one. you turned into an adult when they created a 90s music channel.
